Introduction
Sensitive to light. It’s hygroscopic. Distillation under normal pressure hardly decomposes, and long-term heating loses water molecules to form unsaturated γ-lactone. Easily soluble in water, alcohols and ethers, almost insoluble in aliphatic hydrocarbons. Low toxicity, half lethal dose (rat, oral) 1850mg/kg.
