Physical and Chemical Properties Colorless or light yellow transparent paste, odorless, slightly salty taste. Curing at room temperature, 30~40 ℃ is semi-fluid state, more than 40 ~ C is liquid, the relative density of 25251.141~1.15,288 ℃ boiling, refractive index nD401.4492 ~ 1.4504. Soluble in ethanol, ketone and Ester solvents, water-soluble (25 ° C, 0.1%). Mouse oral LD50>21.5 g/kg,Adl 0~10 mg/kg (tentative, FA/WH0,1996).

Introduction

It is obtained by esterification of food grade sucrose with acetic anhydride and isobutyric anhydride and refined. It is a mixture of esters in all possible binding forms. The ratio of acetate to butyrate is about 2:6, which is “sucrose diacetate hexisobutyrate”.
