Safety Data Information
Hazard Characteristics: Extremely flammable liquid. Its vapors can form explosive mixtures with air. It causes severe eye irritation, repeated skin contact may lead to dryness and chapping, and inhalation at high concentrations will induce neuro-narcotic symptoms such as dizziness and drowsiness.
Operational Protection: Ensure full ventilation in the workplace, keep away from open flames and high-temperature heat sources. Operators shall wear respiratory protective equipment and chemical-resistant gloves to avoid direct vapor inhalation or prolonged skin contact.
Emergency Response: Rinse the contacted skin with clean water immediately; in case of eye exposure, flush eyes thoroughly with plenty of running water and seek medical attention right away. For spills, contain and recover the liquid with inert absorbent materials. Never use high-pressure water jets directly to avoid splashing and spreading, which may form flammable vapor clouds.
Storage & Transportation Requirements: Store in a sealed, cool and ventilated warehouse at 5~30°C, separated from strong oxidizers and strong acids. Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources during transportation, and manage it in accordance with the regulations for Class 3 Flammable Liquids.
Control Note: This substance is a Category 3 Precursor Chemical, and relevant control requirements specified in the Regulations on the Administration of Precursor Chemicals shall be complied with.
